Japanese Knotweed
The safe management of Japanese Knotweed is a challenging and time consuming process, Forza FM offer our clients discreet site solutions to meet their legal obligations.
About the service
Our team is competent, holding Property Care Association Certificated Surveyor of Japanese Knotweed (CSJK) qualifications, providing comprehensive Japanese Knotweed project management from inspection to project handover.
Under UK Law, Japanese Knotweed is legally classified under schedule 9 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 as an invasive non-native species. Therefore, it is an offence to spread Japanese Knotweed into the ‘wild’, allow it to encroach onto neighbouring land, and if remediated it must safely be disposed of as controlled waste.
Who needs to MANAGE JAPANESE KNOTWEED?
Forza FM provides turnkey Japanese Knotweed Surveys and Bio-Security Management Plans, outlining long term management chemical treatment and excavation options.
